The Community YMCA makes a very special promise - No one is turned away from the services or programs we offer because they cannot afford to pay for them. Through a financial assistance program, YCares, those who require subsidies for our services can apply for them. The aid is distributed on a need based, sliding scale.

In order to support YCares, The Community YMCA utilizes the annual support campaign, Strong Kids (formerly the Reach Out To Youth Campaign). Volunteers share with their communities the YStory, asking those who share our concern to support our efforts.

Some of our service lines will also raise money for Strong Kids through a variety of special events. To find out more about upcoming events, please visit the Events section of our website.
